25th Dresdner Stollenfest

This year we are celebrating an anniversary: ​​25 years of the Dresdner Stollenfest, a quarter of a century, a unique spectacle!

Christmas in Dresden without Dresdner Christstollen? Just as unthinkable as the Dresdner Christstollen without its Stollenfest. This year it takes place for the 25th time - on the 8th of December 2018. What a wonderful reason to celebrate. The bakers and confectioners of the Stollen association, a a giant Stollen, the Dresdner Stollenmädchen, numerous well-wishers from the crafts, representatives of town and country and tens of thousands of guests from all over the world. Experience a unique craft tradition.

Every year on Saturday before the second Advent the streets of the old town turn into a unique Christmas spectacle. Then, i a big parade, the stollen bakers bring their giant Stollen to the Striezelmarkt, where it is cut and sold to the many stollen connoisseurs.
